Controller / Driver TK-5a with temperature measurement, water level in the tank, for controlling a pump, heater, etc. Recommended for solar non-pressure systems from the PROECO YL, SOLARIS L, HYDRA L series.
Functions:
1. After connecting the controller to the power supply, a single beep indicates that the controller is working in normal mode (the device's self-check process is taking place).
2. Clock function.
3. Water level indicator – 5 levels (0-20%, 20-50%, 50-80%, 80-100%, over 100% - overflow).
4. Water temperature indicator.
5. Possibility of setting the automatic heating temperature in the range of 30 – 80 °C.
6. Low water level warning – when the level drops below 20%, the controller will issue an audible warning.
7. Possibility of manual control of the solenoid valve (water refilling).
8. Possibility of manual control of the electric heater.
9. Possibility of programming water reheating at specific times (according to the clock) – 2 times a day. Setting the time to 24:00 disables the function.
10. Possibility of programming water refilling at specific times (according to the clock) – 2 times a day. Setting the time to 24:00 disables the function.
11. If problems with the temperature sensor or water level sensor are detected, the controller will start to issue audible warnings every minute. The solenoid valve should then be opened to refill the water in the tank. Please note whether the water is overflowing – if so, the valve should be closed. The open valve will close automatically after 8 minutes.
12. "Turbo-boost" function. If the pressure in the water supply network is too low, you can turn on this function. In a situation where the water level in the tank is too low, in addition to opening the solenoid valve, the pump is turned on. After filling the tank, the pump is simultaneously turned off and the solenoid valve is closed.
13. "Anti-freeze" function. To prevent water from freezing in the pipes outside the building in winter, electric heating cables can be laid along the pipes. The controller will turn on the power to the cables to prevent pipe failure. Turning on the "turbo-boost" function disables the "anti-freeze" function.
14. Even in the event of a power failure, the controller remembers all settings. There is no need for reprogramming.
15. Anti-burn protection. If there is less than 50% of water (or no water at all) in the tank, the controller will turn off all reheating functions.
16. Overload protection. If the "anti-freeze" function (pipe heating) is automatically activated, to prevent cable burnout and reduce electricity consumption, the power supply is periodically disconnected. The function works according to a set time (the standard is 30 minutes of operation / 30 minutes of break, but you can set it from 0 to 90 minutes).
The controller is designed for temperature control in DHW tanks. Mainly intended for compact pressure heaters from the PROECO HP, SOLARIS P, HYDRA P, ARGOS P series.
In case of insufficient sunlight, water can be heated with an electric heater. Of course, the controller can be used in any DHW tanks.
