Two buffer tank models are available: the BT version with 180° connections, suitable for wall mounting, and the JPT version with 90° connections, designed for corner installation.

Small buffer tanks for heat pumps guarantee safe operation. Serving as a hydraulic separator, they ensure stable operation in heating and cooling systems, significantly extending the life of the heat pump and the entire system. They are used to increase the flow of heating medium through the heat pump heat exchanger and when a heating medium is required to defrost the evaporator in air-source heat pumps (via reverse circulation).

It can also be used for domestic hot water.
