HY3880 solar controller with Wi-Fi for solar collectors and electric heater

Application:

The HY3880 controller is an advanced device designed for pressurized solar systems based on solar collectors. It is dedicated to domestic hot water (DHW) storage tanks where a constant water level is maintained. The controller monitors the temperature in the tank heated by the solar collectors and intelligently activates the electric heater only when the energy collected by the solar collectors is insufficient to reach the desired temperature.

Main functions:

- Optimization of solar collector operation: Supports the solar system by activating the electric heater only during periods of lower sunlight on the collectors.
- Wi-Fi / Bluetooth remote control: The dedicated Smart Life (Tuya) app allows full control, monitoring, and modification of the controller's operating parameters from anywhere in the world.
- Intelligent zone heating: Ability to set a heating schedule in 3 independent time zones with specification of the optimal temperature.
- Maintaining a constant DHW temperature: Function of continuous water reheating in the tank when the temperature drops below a set threshold.
- Residual Current Device (RCD) protection: Automatic power disconnection upon detection of a leakage current ≥ 10 mA / 0.1 s, accompanied by an alarm signal.
- Settings memory: Saves all configured parameters and operating modes in the event of a power outage.
- Display and voice prompts: Clear digital LED screen showing current temperature and time, supported by voice prompts (with a night mute function between 22:00 and 8:00).
- Manual mode: Quick turning on and off of the electric heating with a single button on the controller panel or in the app.
