Application:
Magnesium anodes are used to provide anti-corrosion protection for domestic hot water tanks made of steel and coated with ceramic enamel. They can also serve as anti-corrosion protection in domestic hot water tanks made of stainless steel to protect other components (e.g. heaters, etc.)
The first inspection of the anode's condition is recommended before 24 months of the tank's operation. In case of rapid wear, the anode should be replaced more often (every 12 months). If wear occurs more slowly, the replacement can be done every 18 - 24 months.
