SR609C Solar Controller with Wi-Fi for Pressurized Solar Water Heaters and Electric Heating Element

Application:

The SR609C controller with Wi-Fi module is an advanced controller dedicated to integrated, pressurized solar thermal systems with a domestic hot water (DHW) tank. The device continuously monitors the temperature of the water in the tank heated by solar collectors and intelligently manages the operation of the electric heating element (heater). Electric heating is activated only when the energy obtained from the sun is insufficient to reach the set water temperature.

Main Features:

- Wi-Fi Remote Operation (Tuya / Smart Life): The dedicated app enables full temperature monitoring, parameter adjustment, and controller management from anywhere in the world.
- Timed Heating Schedule (THET): Ability to set up to 3 independent time zones per day with custom activation and deactivation temperatures for the electric heater.
- Intelligent Heating Mode (Intelligent Heating): Automatic, gradual heating of water in the tank during specific hours (13:00–17:00), ensuring optimal DHW temperature during weaker sunlight.
- Manual Mode (M.H): Quick, one-time water heating to a selected temperature (10–80°C) initiated by a button on the controller panel or via the app.
- DHW Circulation Control (TCYC): Auxiliary output (R1) allows connection of a circulation pump controlled by return temperature (sensor T2) or a time schedule (work/break).
- Tank Anti-freeze Protection (CFR): Automatic activation of the electric heater when the tank temperature drops below 3°C, heating it up to 5°C.
- Timed Pipe Anti-freeze Protection (PHTC): Pulsed operation of the heating cable within a set time period, protecting pipes from damage in winter and saving energy.
- Thermal Disinfection (TDIS - Anti-legionella): Periodic cyclical heating of the tank to a high temperature (e.g., 70°C) to eliminate Legionella bacteria.
- Automatic Thermostat (AHO): Independent relay output control function (e.g., for automatic top-up or heat dumping).
- Economy Mode (Eco Mode): Disables automatic heating schedules to maximize solar energy utilization while retaining the manual heating option.
- Settings Memory and Screen Protection: Parameter retention during power outages (clock memory up to 36h) and automatic display dimming after 5 minutes of inactivity.
- Error Signaling and Alarm (BEEP): Audible and visual alerts for the user in case of system failure or temperature sensor disconnection.
