Use:
Magnesium anodes are used to provide anti-corrosion protection for domestic hot water tanks made of steel and covered with ceramic enamel. They can also be used as anti-corrosion protection in domestic hot water tanks to protect other elements (e.g. heaters, etc.)
The first check of the condition of the anode is recommended before the end of 24 months of operation of the tank. In the event of quick wearing, the anode should be replaced more frequently (every 12 months). If wearing is slower, it can be replaced every 18-24 months.
It is recommended to use an anode with a stainless steel plug for tanks made of stainless steel.
